Systematic Transfer Plan (STP) is a mutual fund facility where you can invest funds in one mutual fund scheme, then transfer systematically fixed amounts every month to another mutual fund scheme.
STP works by redeeming units of the source scheme to generate the instalment amount required to invest in the target scheme. The number of units of source scheme redeemed for each STP instalment depends on the STP amount and the prevailing NAV of the source scheme on the STP date.
Mirae Asset’s STP calculator can tell you how many units of the target scheme you can purchase through your STP.
Answer: - You can select schemes of Mirae Asset MF from the drop down menu. You should select a scheme based on your risk appetite and investment needs and tenure. If your target scheme is of high volatility, then select a low volatility scheme (e.g. overnight, liquid, ultra-short duration funds). You should be mindful of exit loads when selecting your source scheme. Check the exit load in the scheme information document (SID) available on the AMC website.

Answer: - You need to first determine tenure of your STP. Your transfer amount can be the initial investment amount divided by the number of periods (months/ or quarter) in your STP.
Answer: - We have two options – monthly and quarterly. Select a period based on your tenure.
